Analyis of the race

With Extra Bold not running, this looked a duel between MISTER GLOSS and Ocean Du Moulin and that was the way it panned out. The winner seems to save his best efforts for this track and, although not too clever at the last fence, he was not in any real danger. A bigger worry was his tendency to play up at the start again. His trainer now intends to freshen him up for an autumn campaign.

Ocean Du Moulin beat the others well enough but was entitled to do so on ratings. He won last time but is limited now that he is penalised.
