Seafield Bogie held up in mid-division, headway 10th, challenged 2 out, led last, ridden out
Red Man took keen hold, soon prominent, led and hit 4 out, headed last, hard ridden, ran on
Twenty Degrees held up and behind, slightly hampered bend approaching 4th, headway 12th, weakened 2 out
Doof prominent, jumped slowly 4th, lost place 8th, slightly hampered 12th, poor 4th when jumped right 2 out
Howard Howard held up towards rear, hampered on inside bend approaching 4th, reminders after 7th, slightly hampered 12th, no danger after
Dante´s Back chased leader, led 11th to 4 out, weakened 3 out
Fruitfull Citizen held up, not much room 5th, jumped slowly 11th, soon struggling
Deep King led to 11th, weakening when mistake 4 out
Armaturk held up in rear, good headway after 10th, 3 lengths 5th and going well when pecked and unseated rider 12th
SEAFIELD BOGIE relishes these conditions and always seems to show his best form at this time of year. Stratford the weekend after next is probably the right move for him.
Red Man came into the race on the back of a Hereford win so the form is reasonable.
Doof was miles out of the handicap proper and a long way in the race itself.
Armaturk could well have made his presence felt barring the incident and he could also be heading for Stratford.
