Coleorton Choice chased leaders, effort and led over 1f out, stayed on well under pressure
Polish Pride in touch, effort and every chance over 1f out, no extra well inside final furlong
Parisian Pyramid took keen hold, close up, led over 2f to 1f out, kept on under pressure inside final furlong
Fathey led to over 2f out, soon ridden, weakened over 1f out
Suzie Quw took keen hold, close up until weakened from 2f out
COLEORTON CHOICE is an improving colt and although upped 8lb for his latest Ripon success he saw this out in determined style, hitting the front over a furlong out and battling on gamely, to see off Polish Pride down the outside.
Connections reported that the winner is likely to be put awayuntil nest year now.
Polish Pride, who loves soft ground, was always trapped three horse widths wide but she ran a solid race in defeat, just as she did at Doncaster last time. The downside is that she is due to go up 4lb from tomorrow so things will only get tougher.
Fathey soon dropped away after showing early speed while Suzie Quw, who finished in front of Coleorton Choice at Haydock, was way below par.
