A most professional and taking debut by CERITO, who proved far too good for a field that had some quite taking individuals to suggest it was above average for a median auction here.

The winner holds Newbury Super Sprint and Redcar Two-Year-Old Trophy entries and the Super Sprint looks like being right up his street, while the winning rider was suggesting booking top hat and tails for Royal Ascot.

Cerito shot out of the stalls to make all and after cruising through the race, only needed pushing out, and despite running a shade green and idling, he won easily, full value for the wide margin to suggest better things await.

Master Of Disguise gave vain chase from an early stage and held off the rest well enough to suggest he has a bright future.

Burning Flute hails from a stable whose juveniles invariably improve for their debuts. This looks sure to be the case with this early foal, who looks the part but was green and stuck widest mid-track from a high draw. He should soon be winning.

Sharav could not go with the pace on this faster going after his promising debut on easier going, but he kept battling away. Another furlong will help in time and genuinely good ground will suit better.

Difficult to believe Lagan Handout has had three runs as he dived left out of the stalls from his number one draw and was outpaced before stayingon steadily. He continues to show ability, and when stepping up in trip should be remembered for a little nursery.

Entrancer was most disappointing, dropping away before the final furlong, while Abhainn was most unruly at the start, going to extremes to get rid of his rider behind the stalls.
