Alleviate held up in midfield on outer, headway to chase leaders over 6f out, went 2nd and quickened clear with leader over 2f out, led well over 1f out, soon clear, ridden out
Bold Adventure steadied start, behind, ridden over 3f out, headway over 1f out, ran on well to go 2nd inside final furlong, never troubled winner
Cleaver in touch until dropped to rear after 2f, headway 4f out, came wide bend 2f out, hung left from over 1f out, stayed on to go 3rd near finish, never troubled leaders
Motarjm took keen hold, chased leaders until went 2nd 7f out, led well over 3f out, ridden and quickened clear with winner over 2f out, headed well over 1f out, weakened, lost 2 places final furlong
Bentley Brook took keen hold, held up towards rear, short of room over 8f out, ridden and effort well over 1f out, never threatened leaders
Tashkandi in touch in midfield, bustled along 8f out, ridden over 4f out, chased clear leading pair over 2f out, weakened over 1f out
Proper slowly into stride, held up, headway on outer over 3f out, ridden over 2f out, weakened well over 1f out
Boz held up in midfield, boxed in over 4f out, switched right and driven 3f out, chased clear leaders 2f out, soon no impression, eased inside final furlong
Eumene held up towards rear, headway on outer over 7f out, ridden over 3f out, weakened 2f out
At The Money soon led, ridden and headed over 3f out, weakened quickly over 2f out
Nawow chased leader until over 7f out, ridden and weakened over 4f out, well behind 2f out, eased final furlong
ALLEVIATE, making her seasonal return against race-fitter rivals, was always travelling like a winner up with the pace and cleared away as Motarjm started to struggle off the home bend. She was in no danger from there, although she was kept up to her work. She has come into her own upped to this trip but is already 16lb higher and this clear-cut win will bring further retribution from the handicapper.
Bold Adventure was slightly outpaced as the pace picked up towards the end of the back straight but he finished off best, bursting through the pack from theback in the home straight. He is a strong stayer (won 2m), who looks to be playing himself into form as he steps back up in trip. The handicapper has not relented at all but this 4yo still looks progressive.
Motarjm was a little too enthusiastic to get on with it in chasing At The Money up front and paid for it in the final furlong, although he kept battling away to make the frame.
nBentley Brook got shuffled back as the pace slackened and could never land a blow despite keeping on, well clear of the rest.
Nawow, who was struggling to hold his place into the home bend under strong driving, was reported to have no more to give when eased into the final furlong.
