Grey Boy with leader until led over 5f out, ridden when went lame and headed over 1f out, virtually pulled up
It wasn't a rough race but there was one incident where it got tight over 1f out as Grey Boy got struck into behind by Violent Velocity. Grey Boy's progress was instantly halted but in the immediate aftermath he appeared to have emerged with only a cut on his near hind.
Wodhill Schnaps has been running well on the all-weather this spring and showed that he continues in good heartas he stayed on to take third - but he is exposed.
Im Ova Ere Dad had done all his winning over 1m with five of his six triumphs coming on the all-weather. This was his first start since last December when he was second at Southwell and he fared respectably enough, having been keen in the early strides.
