Kingsmaite mid-division, driven over 3f out, stayed on to lead well inside final furlong
Owed switched left after start, led until headed and no extra final 75yds
Cape Of Storms chased leaders, challenged over 1f out, kept on same pace
Orotund with leaders, weakened final 150yds
Tag Team chased leaders, ridden over 2f out, faded final furlong
Elusive Warrior chased leaders, edged left over 2f out, weakened final furlong
Trees Of Green soon behind and driven along, some headway 2f out, never on terms
Megalo Maniac slowly into stride, never on terms
Tipsy Prince soon outpaced and behind
Branston Tiger mid-division and soon driven along, outpaced over 4f out, weakened over 2f out
Owed made a bold bid and, for a little while, looked as though he was going to prevail, but, although he battled on well, the winner wore him down late on.
Cape Of Storms continues to run well and did so again here, having every chance over a furlong out, and simply being unable to quicken inside the last.
Tag Team was returning after a short break. Elusive Warrior remains a hard horse to predict, but six furlongs is probably plenty sharp enough for him in any case.
