Silver Blue slowly away, held up, steady headway from over 2f out, ran on to lead near finish
Recalcitrant prominent, led well over 2f out, ridden and kept on, headed near finish
Pab Special held up, headway on outside 2f out, ridden and every chance inside final furlong, no extra towards finish
Astroangel chased leaders, short of room on inside entering final furlong, ran on inside final furlong
Dancing Jest chased leaders, ridden over 1f out, hung left and one pace inside final furlong
Fun In The Sun mid-division, weakening when not much room over 1f out
Prince Valentine mid-division, hung left and no headway inside final 2f
Art Gallery led until headed well over 2f out, weakened over 1f out
Pactolos Way slowly into stride, always behind
Chasing Memories always towards rear
Northstar Express held up, always towards rear
Fervent took keen hold, tracked leader, not much room when weakened well over 2f out, eased 1f out
Astroangel, off her lowest mark, made a respectable return to action after five months off the track, but the winner aside, this would not be a race in which to be looking for too many positives.
Shane Kelly reported that Fervent hung left and was unsuited by the track.
