Fleeting Spirit awkward leaving stalls, towards rear, headway over 1f out, strong run to lead well inside final furlong, won going away, impressive
Borderlescott pressed leaders, ridden to lead 1f out, headed well inside final furlong, not pace of winner towards finish
Desert Lord pressed leader, ridden and hung left when led briefly over 1f out, stayed on same pace well inside final furlong
Tax Free chased leaders, ridden 2f out, stayed on inside final furlong, not pace to challenge
Enticing led, ridden and headed over 1f out, faded well inside final furlong
Off The Record held up, ridden and headway when hung badly left over 1f out, stayed on inside final furlong, not reach leaders
Judd Street midfield, ridden over 1f out, one pace
Fullandby behind, soon pushed along, kept on final furlong, not pace to trouble leaders
Cake with leaders to halfway, soon lost place and outpaced
Dandy Man chased leaders, ridden when bumped over 1f out, weakened final furlong
Spirit Of Sharjah slowly into stride, alawys behind
Matsunosuke in touch, pushed along 3f out, weakened 2f out
Fleeting Spirit wasn't quickest away but she found plenty of zip up the centre of the track and fairly shot clear well inside the final furlong. There won't be many speedier three-year-olds around and she must head for the King's Stand Stakes with a serious chance.
Borderlescott is a tough and admirable performer and ran another soild and brave race. Showing his customary early dash as one of three on the far side, he had no answer when the winner swept past. Connections may headfor a Listed race somewhere.
Desert Lord was close up throughout on the far side and pretty much replicated his recent Musselburgh form with Borderlescott. This is his ground and he should continue to give a good account while conditions are in his favour.
Enticing, the other member of the far side trio, took the field along at a brisk clip. She wasn't beaten that far and did little wrong.
Off The Record never got competitive. Although rujnning on, he didn't help his cause by hanging left from halfway.Judd Street had the headgear discarded but was under the pump and struggling from halfway.
Dandy Man, who reportedly lost a shoe leaving the stalls was never going and is clearly better than this showing.
