She was soon disputing the lead and after edging ahead turning for home, and hugging the rail all the way up the straight, she was all out to prevail in a photo-finish. Her trainer David Wachman said: "She is a valuable filly now and I'm not sure about plans. We will probably look for a Listed race for her."
Tobar Na Hinfe, fifth over just short of this trip on his debut at Limerick early this month, raced with the winner most of the way and stuck to his task well. He should be capable of getting off the mark before long.
Shauna's Princess, third over the trip on her debut at Limerick two weeks previously, tracked the leaders and made a promising move into third under 2f out. However, she failed to raise her game when asked and could make little impression on the first two inside the final furlong.
Mullova made some headway over 2f out but failed to make any impression on the leaders from well over 1f out. Theocritus, making his debut, lost ground at the start before making headway from behind early in the straight. He failed to make any real impression from over 1f out but showed enough to suggest there will be better to come. [TO'H]
