The outsider of the stable duo PASAR SILBANO looks a reasonably uncomplicated filly. Rushed up to lead after a furlong, she showed plenty of speed and kept up the gallop all the way to the line. The chasing group were coming back a little bit on her close home, so chances are that this minimum trip will suit her well for the time being at least.
Choose Me was given a nice introduction. Settled off the pace, she closed and kept on well over the final furlong and a half under an educational ride and should improve a good deal. The way she came home suggests that an extra furlong should suit her well.
Cailin Deas Donn broke smartly and showed good early speed, although not to the same extent as the eventual winner. She came under pressure and looked as though she would drop away early in the straight, but she stuck to her task well under pressure, so what improvement there might be is open to question.
Ohiyesa was describedafterwards as being in season. She was also very green, falling out of the stalls, and after closing up to be on the heels of the leaders, she proceeded to drift to her right when seeing daylight inside the final furlong. For all that, she wasn’t beaten very far and should improve a good deal.
