Swift Princess chased leaders, edged right over 1f out, weakening when edged left inside final furlong

Misphire held up in mid-division, some headway over 2f out, weakening when hampered inside final furlong

Sadeek dwelt, soon chasing leaders, lost place over 2f out, hampered inside final furlong

Prince Namid raced wide, switched left after 1f, soon mid-division, lost place over 1f out

Cornus slowly into stride, switched left after start, hampered after 1f, never on terms

The ex-Irish TAJNEED, who had shaped well on his debut for David Nicholls at Doncaster last week, fulfilled that promise by taking this handicap in handsome style. Always going well, he went smoothly away from his rivals entering the last and won with plenty to spare. He will surely be out under a penalty.

Memphis Man came out best of the rest to confirm his well-being.

Bel Cantor, just behind Tajneed last week, finished further behind him here.

Paris Bell ran much better than his finishing position might suggest, given that he met plenty of trouble near the rail and could never find enough daylight for long enough to raise his game.
