It looked an open contest beforehand, but PARKNAKYLE put the race to bed very quickly once getting to the front. Held up early on, she briefly looked to be going nowhere halfway through the final circuit, but she gradually got her act together and was travelling on the bridle on the downhill run to the straight. Once hitting the front after the second-last she settled the issue in a few strides.

Always prominent, Dicera went to the front and kicked a few lengths clear before the fourth-last and tried to run the finish out of her rivals. It didn't happen as she had no chance with the winner and just kept on at the one pace when headed.

Seepeeoh is a mare certainly capable of better than she has shown on the track since winning her bumper18 months ago and this was a better effort. Close to the lead most of the way, she just was a bit one paced coming down the hill from the third-last, but stayed on quite nicely from the second-last and was a bit unlucky not to be second.

The first four finished wellclear of the remainder, headed by Rosanavic. She assumed a handy position for most of the journey, but was hard ridden to stay in touch with the leaders after the third-last. She eventually weakened from there. [JOH]
