The Oil Magnate tracked leaders, effort over 2f out, led over 1f out, went clear, easily
Tactical Move led until over 3f out, kept on to take 2nd last 75yds, no chance with winner
Adab took keen hold, with leader, led over 3f out, headed over 1f out, faded inside final furlong
Plenilune chased leaders, outpaced over 2f out, kept on final furlong
Bahamian Kid soon with leaders, edged left and lost place over 1f out
Threecheersforanby swerved right start, never a factor
Bertie Vista held up in rear, headway over 2f out, weakened final furlong
Zeeran mid-division, ridden and weakened 2f out
Topazes held up in rear, headway on outside over 3f out, soon chasing leaders, weakened 2f out
Star Choice in rear and soon driven along, never on terms
Dnata Flyer prominent, driven over 3f out, lost place over 2f out, eased
His future will be in the hands of the handicapper, but it's hard to know how this form will be treated because the runner-up Tactical Move had shown little last term. He improved here, though, to finish ahead of Adab, who was second of six in a Lingfield maiden on his only run last term. He raced keenly early on and had no chance with the winner.
