KIMOE WARRIOR, running from well out of the handicap, made steady progress up the home straight before getting the better of his rivals after the last. His official mark of 64 over fences tells its own story, and he will do well to follow up.
More Trouble moved through the field slowly and looked menacing rounding the final bend. However, his attitude was questionable off the bridle and he looks a tricky ride.
The brave effort of Log On Intersky confirmed the weakness of the race. Another running from out of the handicap, he kept on surprisingly well after leading for much of the race and is worth a second look if tried in an even lower grade next time. It was February 2006 when he last won, however.
Premier Hope chased Log On Intersky throughout but could not raise his game when asked to get on terms. He was returning from a small break and should come on for the run.
There was a long gap back to the rest.
Mr Ironman got very tired after being close up, while Ashwell Lad jumped to his left almost from the start and was pulled up early.
