Morning Farewell, making his handicap debut, kept plugging away but was not in the same league as the winner after the last. He probably enjoyed the return to quick ground.
Jazz Dance, a winner over fences lasttime, had a bit to do from off the pace but was made to look very onepaced under pressure. The handicapper has his measure over hurdles on this evidence.
Daraybad made good progress as they left the back straight but was another to lack any gears once asked to quicken. He has still to win over hurdles.
Noble Raider, disappointing last time,caught the eye staying on in the latter stages and definitely shaped with promise.
Tech Eagle only showed a modicum of promise on his comeback, while Driving Miss Suzie looks a desperately hard ride.
