Not a bad little handicap of its sort and POCHARD had little trouble following up her success at Fontwell five days earlier. She had raced on the inside but was shaken up to lead two out and and came clear. She is clearly in great form at present andcould come back here on May 18 in an attempt to complete the hat-trick in a similar event over three miles.

Double Mead was held up in mid-division until making headway from four out and she kept on to go second before the last. She continues to creep up the weights but is pretty consistent at this sort of level and could find a similar event in the near future.

Present had led for a long way but didn't help her cause when continually jumping right.
