Even Flo is still a maiden but ran a sound race despite being hampered on the bend after the eighth and he kept on well in the closing stages. He ran well in the first-time tongue-tie and could soon find a little race like this on a return visit.
Boscall Hill had reached the frame in this race last year off a stiffer mark and was always chasing until weakening after two out but at least gave a reasonable account once more.
