HARLOV, who had been hunter chasing recently, appreciated the fast ground and after racing in touch, he stayed on well after the last. This was his first win for two years, and he's on a fair mark, but he may have only a couple more races before being retired.
Innisfree ran a sound race after a break; making the running, jumping well and was only collared after the last. Although this wasn't a strong contest, he ran well enough to suggest he can win in similar company this summer.
Kyalami was the faller, but he was in third and held.
Classic Clover wore blinkers, a fact not declared in the press due to a transmission error, but he didn't run up to his best and was pulled up on the final circuit when well held.
