MILESIAN KING seemed much more at home on this ground rather than the softish conditions he encountered at Newton Abbot when third last month. Although he was pretty keen in the race, he still had enough left to forge clear in the straight and he may well be on the upgrade in the context of this race.
Black Legend came there looking as if he could play a hand in the finish off the home bend but was one paced.
Celestial Dragon came into the race in decent form in points but was never closer than at the death.
