Dancer´s Legacy made virtually all, ridden clear and swished tail from over 1f out

Montiboli chased leaders, ridden over 3f out, weakened inside final furlong

Kashmina unseated rider and bolted to post, held up, headway over 1f out, soon ridden, edged left and weakened inside final furlong

Zabougg pulled hard and prominent, ridden over 3f out, weakened over 1f out

Nortune tracked leaders, pulled hard, ridden and weakened over 2f out

Ogmore Junction held up, ridden over 2f out, soon hung left and weakened

Kool Katie chased winner, challenged halfway, weakened over 2f out

Geordie Girl held up, ridden over 3f out, soon weakened

Lady Amberlini held up, headway over 4f out, soon ridden and weakened

Different ground made DANCER'S LEGACY look a different horse as he made hacks of his rivals. Returning to 1m and all the better for a run over further in the soft, he took control two furlongs out and pulled relentlessly clear and is worth following while the sun shines.

Sinbad The Sailor emerged from the chasing pack to finish clear of the rest. Campaigned in decent company on his first two juvenile starts, he was having a first outing for almost eight months and can improve to break his ducksoon.

Montiboli looks happier over this distance than sprints, although 7f might well prove his optimum trip, while Kashmina threw her rider and galloped loose beforehand, so considering the energy lost for her trouble she ran very well to finish just out of the money.
