Brassini always in touch, ridden to lead just inside final furlong, quickened clear
Asian Power always prominent, led briefly over 1f out, headed just inside final furlong, not pace of winner
Lodi always in touch on outside, kept on one pace final furlong
Autumn Blades in rear until headway on outside from 2f out, ran on one pace, never nearer
Bazguy led until ridden and headed over 1f out, one pace after
The Twelve Steps mid-division, ridden 2f out, no impression on leaders after
Brazilian Brush towards rear though in touch, ridden 2f out, weakened final furlong
Saranome towards rear on outside, effort over 2f out, no headway from over 1f out
Hobson came over to stands' side from start, never on terms
First Trim tracked leader, ridden over 2f out, weakened over 1f out
Liberty Belle in touch to halfway, lost touch final 2f
His was content to hold him up just in behind the leaders on the stands' rail and switched his mount left around First Trimover a furlong out and once seeing daylight he kept on strongly and went clear after hitting front just inside the final furlong. He could well follow in similar company over this trip if turning out under a penalty.
Asian Power had been running consistently on the all-weather and came in for plenty of support on his return to the turf. He broke smartly and was soon tacking over towards the stands' rail and had every chance when leading over a furlong out but just found the winner too good. He could well find a little race like this in the near future.
Autumn Blades was switched left over a furlong out and kept on and ran well enough without suggesting he is a winner waiting to happen and Bazguy had made the running until well over a furlong out and could be running into form now. (TE)
