A disappointing turnout for a race that often produces useful sorts and the withdrawal of the experienced Dabbers Chief, who refused to go into the stalls took even more interest away.

GLAMOROUS SPIRIT continued the triumphant start of his stable's juveniles with a taking debut win against the colts. She took a fierce hold as she was put behind her rivals, who set only a solid pace and, having to go through a narrow gap, she took time to quicken through it but when she did she showed her classto quicken up well and win going away without her rider having to use his whip.

Trainer Jeremy Noseda is likely to give her another run ahead of any Royal Ascot date and reported that everything about the race had been against her as she will be seen to best effect off a fierce pace and will not lack speed for whichever Ascot target is chosen.

Court Approval and Roly Boy were readily left behind after racing on the front end. Both are bred to find this a minimum trip at a fast pace and can leave the form behind in time over further.[BJ]
