Victory went to ATLANTIC BEACH, who had shown promise on his debut, and coming from off the pace, ran on well to lead in the final furlong. From a good family, he should progress.
That said, as it stands the form is nothing special. Tangerine Trees had finished well beaten on his debut, but improved with the aid of a visor, and despite racing quite keenly, he showed plenty of speed and kept on for second, with the 65-rated Bertie Vista, who looks the key to the form, keeping on for third after getting a bit short of room in the final furlong.
Alsadeek, coltish in the preliminaries, raced up with the pace, but found little and dropped away to finish a disappointing fifth, and on this evidence is one to have reservations about.
