Pacific Pride chased leading pair, pushed along halfway, ridden well over 1f out, stayed on under pressure to challenge inside final furlong, soon driven and led last strides
Westport close up, effort 2f out, ridden to lead approaching final furlong, soon driven, headed last strides
Obe Gold dwelt, rear and ridden along halfway, headway 2f out, driven and stayed on entering final furlong, soon every chance until no extra towards finish
First Order soon led, joined and ridden 2f out, headed approaching final furlong and kept on same pace
Blue Tomato chased leaders, ridden along over 2f out, driven over 1f out and soon no impression
Paris Bell slowly into stride, always in rear
Westport isn't the most consistent of sorts, and like the winner hasn't the best of win records, but he ran to form here, racing up with the pace, going on over a furlong out but being collared close home.
Obe Gold is steadily finding his form, and ran on from off the pace to finish a close third. He's now only a pound higher than the mark he won off at Goodwood last season, so there should be an opportunity for him in the next week or two.
Blue Tomato hasn't really gone on after winning on his reappearance and Paris Bell missed the break and never featured on ground that wasn't ideal for him.
