Analyis of the race
Several interesting fillies on show here, among them SCUFFLE, who had run a solid third on her debut at Newbury last October. She was a bit keen early, but once Alutando had taken it up and given her a sensible lead she was always happy and she scored a shade cosily. She seems sure to come on a lot for this and should hold her own in better company.
Crystal Capella, second of 11 on her debut at Lingfield last November, raced wide throughout here and looked a beaten horse approaching the furlong mark, but she picked up again when shown the whip and was running on to good effect at the end. She should not be difficult to place.
Soft Shoe Shuffle was another newcomer to turn in a solid effort, and she too should be able to pay her way in time.
