A weak event but TAPAS LAD had looked unlucky in a similar contest at Bath on his penultimate start and was not inconvenienced by the step back up in trip. He was keen towards the outside in the early stages and was soon close up but came through to lead over a furlong out and kept on well. He can continue to figure in this grade but is fully exposed.

Jemiliah had plenty to do before the turn into the straight but kept on well when switched inside over a furlong out and gave the impression shecan win one of these modest events soon.

Coral Shores was close up and led over three furlongs out but could keep on only at one pace when headed by the winner. She too can have her say in one of these races in due course.
