Swop had won his only previous start at Lingfield last October and all the rage on his return. He jumped smartly and led and kept on well under pressure when challenged but was just touched off. Connections clearly had high hopes for him and he can soon put this reverse behind him and could progress further if all remains well with him.
Twilight Star was soon tracking the leaders and didn't have the best of run and can find a race on the all-weather and that comment also applies to Mumbleswerve, who didn't see much daylight up the straight and could have done with a faster pace.
