DAVENPORT wins his share and he looked on a fair mark. He avoided any trouble by coming with a long run on the wide outside to lead in the last half furlong or so.
Aphrodisia had bolted up at Brighton last time and she again travelled strongly, but having taken it up over a furlong from home she was beaten fair and square.
Willow Dancer went round the inner and had his chance when the track opened out.
Further back, Cormorant Wharf did not enjoy much of a run and can be rated a bit better than the bare result.
Richard Hughes reported that Tinnarinka moved poorly throughout. Martin Dwyer reported that Gracechurch was unsuited by the going.
