ICESOLATOR, who escaped a penalty for last Saturday's win here, edged ahead inside the last two furlongs, and he was always just holding on, although Smokey Storm proved a persistent rival. He is taking his races well and Richard Hannon is inclined to bring him out again at Windsor on Monday.
Smokey Storm emerges the best horse in the race, as his Brighton win incurred a 3lb penalty and he was only narrowly beaten.
Bargain buy Mazzola showed speed but was the first beaten.
