Analyis of the race

A low-grade handicap, little better than a seller, was won with a gritty front-running display by CASINO NIGHT, who stuck to her task in grand style to keep her pursuers well at bay. She will go up for this, but another little race could well come her way.

Hurstpierpoint, not well drawn, came out of the pack to come out best of the rest, but was unable to get to the winner.

Zaplamation showed more encouragement, while Flashy Max made a satisfactory start to the campaign.

Aquarian Dancer did not build on her comeback run on this sounder surface.

Dancing Maite failed to improve for this switch from all-weather to turf.
