Ronnie Howe came rattling home and would probably have won in another stride or two. He looks one to keep on the right side.
Whinhill House, a stablemate of the winner, ran asolid race in third and looks to be coming to hand.
Mulligan's Gold seemed to still have the hood on when the stalls opened, so he did well in the circumstances to finish so close.
Of the others, Funfair Wane showed bags of speed before fading late on, while Colorus was soon being ridden along and could never get in a blow.
