According to his connections a tendency to pull had handicapped him in the past, so Quinn's orders were to let him stride along if free or to get him settled if amenable to restraint. The latter option worked a treat for Quinn as the combination grabbed Dawn Sky before holding Aegean Prince.
Aegean Prince has returned to his original trainer and stepped up noticeably on his seasonal return here the previous week.
Marvo didn't have much room over two furlongs out when admittedly under pressure. He stayed on when the birds had flown and this run suggestshe didn't fall to the bounce factor after his encouraging effort at Yarmouth.
The remainder, led by Sign Of The Cross, were well beaten off.
