The well-related son of Bahamian Bounty gave the others a target to aim at but was always clear on the stands' side and came home unchallenged, to give Roger Charlton a winner with his first two-year-old runner of the campaign. The Charlton stableappears to be running into form after a slowish start and this fellow looks destined for better things.
Love You Louis tried to go with the winner but was always fighting a losing battle. However, both he and Imperial Guest will know more next time.
Robin The Till's run is best forgotten as his rider accepted the inevitable when he had a mountain to climb, being several lengths adrift in isolation at the distance.
