This maiden fillies' contest was one-way traffic for DIAMOND YAS as she spreadeagled the opposition. Quite what she beat has to be open to question but it was hard to fault the way she did it in the end. Her future lies in handicaps now and it will be interesting how she is rated as the only two benchmarks in the race had lowly marks and one of them finished fourth.

Tara's Garden is also now eligible for a rating but was flattered to finish as close to the winner as she did. She may well be suited by a bit further.

Vanatina is officially rated just 47 and has looked modest on sand and turf.

If there was an eyecatcher it was Fonda, who should derive plenty of benefit for this debut outing. She plugged on without really knowing what it was all about and looks the type his trainer does well with when handicapped.
