CODA AGENCY is quite handy in this grade on his day and bounced right back to form after possibly proving unsuited by making the running on his latest start. This was his third handicap win in under three months, and he also won over hurdles last autumn, so he is versatile as well as quietly progressive.
Alnwick, a good winner over the course and distance in January, went after the winner as they straightened up and kept him right up to his work, but he was never going to beat him and it was touch and go most of the way if he would win the battle for second with Bobsleigh, who was running his best race in a long while. There was a long gap back to Rose Bien, and she was clear of the rest.
