The winner did not need to reproduce his juvenile form, but Brian Meehan and Frankie Dettori were really pleased with him. There is no particular plan.
The filly Amhooj has improved with every race and was going on again at the finish. She has the handicap option now and should be placed to advantage in due course.
This was also a third run for Royal Straight, a Halling gelding who should be seen to better advantage in handicaps now.
De Facto was a bit keen early on in the headgear, but he stayed on a bit in the straight.
