Having run against some very decent horses in bumpers and after running disappointingly at Cork on her hurdling debut when finishing behind today's eventual second and fourth, CLOTH FAIR finally came good and did it in some style in the end. Racing handily most of the way, she was being ridden three out and did take her time to get going, but when she did she put the race to bed quickly after hitting the front two out and galloping clear. Her trainer nominated a handicap as her next probable target, but it wouldn't be too much of a surprise if she was to be seen in a mares' hurdle at Punchestown, especially as it appears she'll get a bit further.

Favourite Itsmylife was well up with the pace throughout, but also probably was to keen for her own good. She was under pressure to challenge for the lead two out and had no chance with the winner when she quickened past and in the end was all out to hold on to second place.

Annagh Lady again tried to make all, although was ridden with much more restraint today, but it didn't work out any better than at Cork. She was ridden and headed before the second-last and could only keep on at one pace from there.

Fortune Seeker raced off the pace most of the way but looked in trouble and was hard-ridden before the third-last. She eventually just kept on at one pace.
