Held up, she began to close before three flights out and was clearly travelling best at that stage. Vying for the lead two out, she soon took control and was about four lengths clear when she was a little untidy at the final hurdle. She stayed on well and may be seen in action at least once before the end of the season.
Afasheen, third on her hurdling debut at Navan ten days previously, was always close up and challenged to dispute the lead at the second-last. Unable to go with the winner approaching the final hurdle, she kept on and should stay further.
A Rare Diamond, a winning pointer who had finished over eight lengths behind Afasheen at Navan, ran the same sort of race with that rival here. She went second after the fifth hurdle and held her place until finding little when driven along soon after the third-last.
Oilean Deas, making her debut, recovered from a mistake at the first and made headway before the third-last, only to make little impression on the leaders from the second-last. [TOH].
