Limonia led stands' side trio, led overall over 2f out until well over 1f out, soon driven, faded inside final furlong

Falmassim in touch on far side, headway to chase overall leader 3f out, led well over 1f out, ridden and headed inside final furlong, weakened last 100yds

Cool Sands in touch on far side, headway over 2f out, not clear run over 1f out, never able to challenge

Charming Ballet held up towards rear on far side, headway over 2f out, chased leaders and ridden over 1f out, weakened final furlong

Sceilin slowly into stride, always behind on far side, some modest late headway

Gone´N´Dunnett chased leaders on far side, ridden 2f out, weakened just over 1f out

Bahamian Bay chased leaders on far side, ridden over 2f out, weakened quickly over 1f out

Ducal Regancy Red led on far side for 1f, chased overall leader after until halfway, soon ridden, weakened just over 2f out

Green Pirate slowly into stride, always behind, hung badly right to stands' side over 3f out, never on terms

Orchestration always behind on stands' side, no chance and eased inside final furlong

Oh Gracious Me slowly into stride, soon recovered, led far side and overall after 1f, headed over 2f out, soon weakened, eased inside final furlong

Another modest race but POLAR FORCE had won twice at the course previously and took advantage of a career-low rating on his return to the turf. He chased the leader on his own towards the stands side and stayed on well to get up near the finish. He is eight now but clearly likes his visits to his local course and could find another little race in due course.

Imperial Sword was another who has dropped significantly down the ratings and ran his best race for some time. He was held up in touch towards the centre and tacked over towards the far side once leading inside the final furlong, but was just collared close home. He can find a race at this level soon.

Welcome Releaf ran well under a 6lb penalty on his return to turf and kept on under pressure in the closing stages. Again, he is only modest but is another who looks capable of collecting in this grade.

Limonia has been running consistently on the all-weather this year and showed plenty of pace on the stands rails but could only keep on at the one pace when headed over a furlong out , while Falmassim was soon prominent on the far side and led over a furlong out but didn't have a lot more to offer once headed.
