Pret A Thou, let down by his jumping at Ludlow last time, again made mistakes here. He also sweated up and was keen and is clearly not straightforward. However,he had shown ability when second in a Bangor handicap in March and he still has time on his hands.
The ground may have been on the quick side for Najca de Thaix, while Star Galaxy would have got closer to the action but for a mistake at the seventh when he was starting to close.
