Moon Star raced keenly, always prominent, led 2 out, ridden approaching last, in command and stayed on well run-in
Supsonic always prominent, led 3 out, headed 2 out, soon ridden, kept on same pace run-in
Jardin De Vienne midfield, mistake 3 out, headway to chase leaders when not fluent 2 out, kept on under pressure run-in
Sharp Dresser raced keenly, close up, shaken up and weakened quickly after 2 out
Realism held up, headway approaching 5th, mistake 3 out, soon weakened, no danger when blundered 2 out
Pilca held up, bumped 5th, headway 4 out, no real impression when hampered 2 out
Carrietau led, headed 3 out, soon ridden, weakening when hampered 2 out
Little Bob prominent, lost place approaching 4 out, rallied 3 out, weakened before 2 out
Cottingham held up, ridden 3 out, soon beaten
Country Escape midfield, bumped 5th, weakened 3 out
Kickahead raced keenly, held up, blundered 5th, headway in 5th place about 6 lengths off pace when fell 2 out
Restless D´Artaix midfield, headway 3 out, beaten when brought down 2 out
MOON STAR raced keenly throughout and saw plenty of daylight on the outside, but Tony McCoy managed to keep him in check until producing him two out, and he was always going to win from that point. Moon Shot had made the running when a creditable seventh in better company at Cheltenham last time, and this performance confirmed he is still on the upgrade, and best when able to get a lead.
Jardin De Vienne, a winning 1m handicapper in France, also ran creditably on this handicap debut and he too should soon be paying his way.
