Brenin Cwmtudu held up in rear, steady headway from 4 out, led 2 out, ridden and kept on under pressure run-in
Petito in rear, mistake 6th, headway soon after, driven to challenge 2 out, stayed on under pressure run-in but always just held
Latanier led, ridden and headed approaching 2 out, soon weakened
Cashel Blue chased leader, challenged 3 out, ridden soon after, weakened approaching 2 out
Colonial Jim always well behind, tailed off
Charlottes Webb chased leaders, ridden 3 out, weakened and pulled up before next
Devenish Lad in touch 5th, weakened and hit 7th, tailed off when pulled up before 2 out
Catch N Drive chased leaders, blundered 3rd, ridden and behind 5th, tailed off when pulled up before 2 out
Sparkys Reflection chased leaders, weakened 7th, tailed off when pulled up before 2 out
Saddlers Blaze always behind, tailed off when pulled up before 2 out

BRENIN CWMTUDU was stepping back up in trip and it served him well as he travelled best turning in and then battled to hold off the runner-up. As he acts on decent ground it will be no surprise to see him win more races over the summer as he seems to be settling better these past couple of starts.
Petito has a mark of 110 and the handicapper should be able to rate the race through him as he seemed to run up to his best.
Cashel Blue is also up for a mark now as this was his third outing over hurdles and better ground should suit him more.
