Midsummer Legend had the benefit of previous experience as she had finished down the field at Cheltenham earlier this month. She was not facing anywhere near as daunting a task this timeand ran accordingly.
Starlet Mandy was being pushed along from some way out but responded on her debut. She shaped like a stayer in the making.
