Most of these were very well exposed in this handicap chase so there were no surprise packages. LUCKY LUK had last won at this course 18 months ago and he came good again in hard-earned style. All he does is stay and that is usually enough around here where plenty of horses fail to last home.

Arceye has done nothing wrong in recent weeks and came into the race chasing a four-timer. He was only picked up in the last strides and considering he had been contesting sellers before winning two handicaps at the age of 11, his connections have very right to be pleased but the form is very ordinary as he cannot be improving that fast at his age.
