Learning The Blues led, not fluent 8th, headed 9th, not fluent and lost place 10th, switched left after 2 out, went 3rd last

Bright Green soon prominent, jumped left 2nd, chased leader 3rd until jumped left 6th, led 9th, headed soon after 4 out, weakened approaching 2 out

Molly Hussey took keen hold early, headway 4th, chased leader 6th, every chance 4 out, weakened approaching 2 out, mistake last

Lockstone Lad prominent, blundered and lost place 3rd, disputing last when blundered and unseated rider 10th

My Beautiful Loser prominent, reminders and lost place after 6th, behind 8th, blundered 9th, tailed off when pulled up before 2 out

The forecast rain failed to materialise and the ground was faster than they declared on which caused a rash of non-runners on the card. The jockeys reported that the chase course was quick and rough in places.

This beginners'' chase cut up pretty badly and it looked the ideal opportunity for Learning The Blues get off the mark over fences at the second time of asking. However he appeared to down tools after making the running at the bottom of the hill and this allowed DYNAMIC RHYTHM the chance tomake a winning chase debut. He had shown only average form over hurdles and the bare form here has to be treated with caution.

Learning The Blues is one to have reservations about after this display as he looked uncooperative to say the least and may need headgear in future.

Bright Green has had a few chances over fences now.
