Palace Moon, a half-brother to top sprinter Sakhee's Secret, really should have made a winning debut had his rider been able to keep him straight instead of being seemingly intent on using his stick and not really helping that much. In the circumstances he showed enoughto easily suggest that an ordinary affair like this should be a formality as he should learn from this experience. Whether he will ever scale the heights of his relation is open to question based purely on this evidence.
Billy Hot Rocks could not muster the pace to challenge. He is now eligible for a mark and will be of interest over further as he ran as if that will be much more suitable.
Acclimate will not be seen at his best until handicapping after another outing, while Game Hunt was stepping back a furlong and this run will get him a mark. However, he has not looked that straightforward in the past.
