King Of The Moors, who made most of the running, took some reeling in, but the winner mastered him late on. He should be able to go one better.
The rest of the field were beaten seven lengths and more. Decipher kept on to take third, without being able to pose a threat. Pianoforte travelled sweetly under a patient ride and looked sure to take a hand entering the last two furlongs, but his effort petered out when the chips were down inside the last.
