The finish concerned those nearest the stands' side, with ROYAL ENVOY staying on strongly to put the race beyond doubt inside the last furlong.He looks in great nick after a successful winter campaign on the all-weather.
Dorn Dancer, as usual, came from off the pace. She kept on but could never get to the winner from her awkward draw.
Deserted Dane made an encouraging start to theseason, racing up the far side, along with Charles Parnell, who was also having his first start of the year. The pair should be kept on the right side in the coming weeks.
