Barshiba held up, pulled hard, not clear run over 2f out, ridden and hung left over 1f out, ran on inside final furlong, not trouble leaders
Passage Of Time prominent, chased winner over 3f out, ridden and hung right over 1f out, stayed on same pace

Cosmodrome led 3f, chased leaders, ridden over 2f out, soon weakened
The same connections are responsible for the progressive HEAVEN SENT, who carried a similar profile into this race as Echelon last year. The trend with the winner of this race has been to go on to the Group 2 Windsor Forest at Royal Ascot (Echelon was sixth in a midseason lull in her form). Heaven Sent could prove more versatile as her profile suggests a mile and 1m2f come alike to her.
Harvest Queen kept tabs on the winner, who covered the slow pace and started winding it up from the front. She looked well for this reappearance and there is no reason to suggest this Listed winner has not run to her form. She was found wanting at Group 1 level last autumn but this effort suggests she can win lower Group race. She may now head for the Princess Elizabeth Stakes at Epsom.
Passage Of Time was getting rave gallop reports but not for the first time, she failed to produce after travelling well.That said, she was coming back down in trip in a slowly run race so was not seen to best effect. She has had her breathing problems and on this showing you have to wonder if there is still a legacy despite the corrective measures.
The extra headgear (eyeshield added to blinkers that brought a continental Listed win) did not look to energise Impetious as she looked to be hanging fire under pressure through the final furlong. That said, she was outclassed in this contest and as such was not disgraced on the bare form.
Cosmodrome flopped, dropping away tamely after being well placed at the head of the slow pace. It was worrying how early she was beaten and dropped away. (BJ)
